Pastor's sermon is based on the Gospel lesson. Healing and resurrection. Those happen to be two of the things Jesus does best: healing and resurrection. And this morning, we heard Jesus do both in a first century story within a story. The story of the woman with the hemorrhage is set within the story of Jairus and his daughter. Both are stories of great need, of great desperation in the face of impending death. Each of them is a story about faith; the faith of a desperately ill woman; and the faith of a worried father.
