Mark 4: 26-34
Fourth Sunday after Pentecost

Pastor's sermon  is based upon the gospel lesson from Mark. The kingdom of God is like a slow growing seed. We go out and try our best to share the good news of God in Jesus Christ, whether it be by our words or by our actions. We invite folks to come and see. We witness to Jesus as Lord, but nothing seems to happen right away. The results we get can seem rather ordinary. And yet, we are part of the kingdom of God at work in the world today. God continues to call and send God's workers in the kingdom to plant the seed of faith in people's hearts. Others are called to add water to the seed. And then God brings about the growth.
