Pastor's sermon is based upon the gospel lesson from Luke 21:25-36 and the season of Advent. Advent is a time of waiting and watching. It is a time to notice that our God not only cares about us, but also comes to us. Thankfully, we don't have to get it all together on our own. We don't have to be the ones to do everything to make the world work out right. Because our gracious and loving God moves among all of us. God acts, creates, and re-creates. We give thanks for the season of Advent. It is our yearly reminder to us that God is able to reach out, reach in, and surprise us. Amen!
