Pastor's sermon begins at the 15:11 mark and is based upon the gospel reading from Luke 9:28-43a. In the Transfiguration Story, Luke is instructing us in the nature of worship. Jesus, himself, heads up the mountain in order to pray. Worship contains moments of reflection, immersion into the Word, and prayer. Through our worship videos and sermon transcripts, we are given worship resources to enable worship within our homes. We stay connected and in solidarity with those who are homebound due to health issues. We worship in order that we might embrace our callings in the world and to respond to the needs of God’s beloved children with renewed energy, confidence, and determination.
