Pastor's sermon is based on the gospel lesson. Jesus restores Peter’s mother-in-law back to her social world and brings her back to a life of value by freeing her from a terrible fever. It’s extremely important to see that her healing is about restoration to community and restoration of a calling, as well as restoration to an abundant life. Because life without community and calling is depressing indeed, isn’t it? The ministry of Jesus is all about restoring those who’ve been cut off from their community, back to a full role within the community. Thanks be to God! Amen.
