The sermon by Pastor is based on the gospel lesson from Luke 23:33-43. The reign of Christ begins, even though we least expect it. It comes at the most difficult moment at the place of the Skull on Good Friday. Here is where God's power seems the least likely to be found; here is where the lowest of the low has sunk down; and yet, here is where God reigns supreme. God's light cannot be snuffed out in this shameful place. Followers of Christ have a place here too--to live into our identity as ones "crucified with Christ."
