We have one worship service that starts at 10 AM and you are invited to participate as fully as you desire. We will not ask you to introduce yourself during the service but we would like to meet you before or after the service. Please join us for a cup of coffee or lemonade.
We follow a traditional Lutheran Liturgy with the Congregational responses marked as “C” and printed with bold type in the worship leaflet. The service starts with prayers for confession and forgiveness, followed by hearing the Word of God with scripture readings from the Old Testament, Psalm, New Testament, and the Gospel Lesson. The preaching is always Biblical. We also stand and say the Creed and the Lord’s Prayer together and sing traditional hyms. On the first Sunday of the month and Feast Days we celebrate Holy Communion.
What to wear: At St. Thomas you will find people dressed ranged from their Sunday best to something more casual. There is no expectation of what to wear.
Children: During the service the Pastor will invite the children up to the first row for a lesson. Your children are welcome to join and you can walk up with them if that makes them more comfortable. Also, if you have a little one that needs more space or place to make a little noise there is a “cry room” in the foyer. A large window to the sanctuary and speakers let you continue to participate with the service.
Parking: “Visitor” parking is marked along the side of the church.
