Pastor's sermon is based on the gospel lesson. We hear of Jesus encountering a Canaanite woman, to whom Jesus has never met. Jesus surprisingly reacts to her with negativity and dismissal. However, he ultimately responds by saying, “Woman, great is your faith.” Amid the initial rejection, she has a heart of faith. Perhaps you can relate to her because you, too, are so weighed down by grief and despair that you feel that you’ve got no options. You’ve tried everything, and your only hope now rests in this miracle man from Galilee. Jesus, the Great Physician, demonstrates his power to heal. Thanks be to God!
