Pastor’s sermon touches on the Ascension of Our Lord, and then focuses on the gospel reading from John 17:1-11. Jesus prays the “High Priestly Prayer” to the Father on behalf of his disciples and us. Jesus wants us to glorify the Father by emptying ourselves through our prayer life. This enables God to fill us with the Holy Spirit. We can pray anytime, anywhere, and for any reason. God is always eager to listen. Amen!
