Pastor's sermon is based on Acts 2:1-21. The Spirit of Christ surprised everyone on Pentecost. The Spirit also empowered Peter to explain the meaning of Joel’s prophesy. It all connected with Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified, then raised up; and whose Spirit was “poured out upon all flesh.” Through this story in Acts, as well as in our own time, we learn how the power shown at Pentecost belongs to God and not to a select group. The Lord is free to show His power in whatever way it serves His divine purpose of bringing the world together. Amen!
